Envoy Coaching

Am kommenden Donnerstag und Freitag, den 09. und 10.07., ist Envoy Coach Mike Lane zu Gast bei den Chipmunks!

Geplante Einheiten sind am Donnerstag von 15.30 bis 18.00 Uhr Training Jugend und von 18.00 bis 20.00 Uhr Hitting Clinic Herren.
Für den Freitag ist von 10.00 bis 16.00 Uhr eine Day Clinic Jugend geplant.
Ein weiterer Termin ist für Montag den 20.07. vorgesehen. Da soll von 10.00 bis 16.00 Uhr eine weitere Day Clinic Jugend stattfinden.
Ab 17.00 Uhr gibt es dann noch eine Pitcher/Catcher Clinic für die Herrenmannschaften.
Die Trainingseinheiten für die Kinder sind offen, es sind alle interessierten Spieler und Spielerinnen von fremden Vereinen herzlich eingeladen!

Infos zu Mike Lane:

Coach Lane war 26 Jahre an der University of North Alabama Headcoach und wurde zweimal D II Trainer des Jahres in der NCAA. Bereits 1996 war er als MLB Envoy Coach in Volmarstein.

Möglich ist sein Besuch durch die Unterstützung der European Baseball Coaches Association, der international Sports Group, den Cologne Cardinals und den Hagen Chipmunks.
Neben den Clinics bei uns wird er in Mulhouse (Frankreich) und Köln referieren.

Mike Lane has transformed the University of North Alabama baseball program into one of the nation’s most consistent winners. Lane has averaged 36 wins per season, won 40 games or more six times, won five Gulf South Conference championships and taken the Lions to ten NCAA regionals and one World Series since his arrival in 1983.

Under Lane, numerous Lion baseball players have gone on to play professional baseball, including Cedric Landrum who debuted in the major leagues with the Chicago Cubs and played in 1993 with the New York Mets, Jim Czajkowski, who reached the majors with Colorado Rockies is in 1994, Terry Jones, who debuted with the Rockies in 1996 and also played with the Expos and Dodgers, and Josh Willingham who made his major league debut with the Florida Marlins in 2004 and earned a starting position in 2006.

In addition, Lane has developed a national reputation of success and was chosen by the United States Baseball Federation to serve as one of three coaches for the South team in the U.S. Baseball Trials in Florida in 1992. The squad selected from those trials represented the U.S. in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain.
